Rochester High School
The Transitional Kindergarten program serves as a bridge between preschool and kindergarten and is available to students who are five years old by Dec. 1 of the school year. Please visit the Transitional Kindergarten page on our website for more information. RCS celebrates veterans who have served our country and our school district. If you are a retired RCS veteran, we would love to hear from you. Although there is a tremendous amount of information on our website about our school, you are encouraged to contact us for additional help and support as needed in order for your student to be successful. The staff at RJHS and I look forward to partnering with you to make your student’s experience at RJHS a positive one.
Our aim is to encourage positive attitudes and set high expectations for our students. If you are wondering what happened to Ms. Aprile, she was married on August 6th, 2022, and is now Mrs. Pasquale! Mrs. Pasquale spent the first several years of her career as an English and Spanish teacher at Clarkston High School.
Elementary Schools
There she cultivated student organizations and led professional development and professional learning communities for teachers. Mrs. Pasquale holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Michigan State University. In her free time, Mrs. Pasquale enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her family.
The foremost factor when determining schools closings, delays or early releases due to inclement weather is always students and staff safety. To ensure students have access to instruction and feel successful, we are focusing on every student attending school regularly. Attendance is a top priority, second only to student safety. We offer four full-service community schools at Gage Elementary School, Riverside Central Elementary School, John Marshall High School, and Rochester Alternative Learning School. Our district celebrates diversity with more than 80 spoken languages in our schools.
Rochester Junior High School
Middle school students are combining science, technology, engineering and math at the Oakland Schools STEMi Mobile Innovation Station. Mr. Reynolds oversees students in grades 9 – 12 in a school that houses the International Baccalaureate program. Hawthorne Education Center offers Adult Basic Education, English as a second language, and college programs for our community members. Rochester Public Schools is looking for staff to help impact our community and make a difference in the lives of students around us. Students in a New York State Alternate Assessment class at Edison Career and Technology High School are trying to make the holidays a bit brighter for fellow classmates and their families. As the 7th largest district in Minnesota we serve more than 17,400 students and continue to grow. RCS is part of a treasured community that is looking to hire. Online enrollment is open for all new students from transitional kindergarten through grade 12. RCS Adult Transition students took a field trip to explore opportunities to pilot equine-assisted therapy. Tickets to all athletic events will now be purchased electronically throughGoFan.
She and her husband, Tony, have two dogs, Lucy and Walter. Stoney Creek is showing their holiday spirit by helping others in our own Stoney Creek family enjoy the holiday season. Students and staff can donate gift cardsin exchange for an ornament to hang on our giving tree in the senior locker bank. We request all gift cards are turned in to the counseling office by 3pm on December 16th. The lack of English language skills shall not be a barrier to admission or participation in the district's activities and programs. Rochester CUSD 3A also does not discriminate in its hiring or employment practices.
Mr. Amore spent the first eight years of his career as a History and Multimedia teacher at Van Hoosen Middle School. He also served as Athletic Liaison, Teacher Leader, and created and coached the Van Hoosen and Adams H.S. Archery team. Mr. Amore holds a Bachelor’s degree in History, Social Studies, and Secondary Education from Oakland University and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from U. He is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist, and takes any opportunity to enjoy nature.
